Metalized polyester (PET) is a popular material valued for its electrical insulation, structural integrity, high tensile strength and moisture barrier properties. Also known as Mylar®, Melinex® and Hostaphan®, this durable material is created by depositing a thin aluminum coating on the surface of polyester. This combination provides a shiny, mirror-like, reflective finish.

All Foils supplies a wide variety of metalized polyester products, all of which can be converted via our state-of-the-art equipment to meet your specific requirements. We stock metalized polyester in 48-gauge with other gauges and thicknesses available upon request. Metalized polyester can be provided in widths up to 48″ and in any length that meets your needs. We can also provide metalized polyester bare or adhesive coated in the form of coils, rolls or sheets.
Coils and rolls can be provided on your choice of core type, including fiber, plastic, aluminum or steel. Cores are available with inner diameters ranging from 1 5/16″ to 6″. When selecting the proper metalized polyester foil product for a given application, consideration must be given to a variety of properties. Before purchasing metalized polyester foil, rolls, sheets or more, know the strains it will be under during use.
